D.A.R.T.S. is available to persons with disabilities who are unable to access
regular transit service and require the assistance of a personal mobility
device (wheelchair, scooter, walker). Applications must be made through the
Accessible Transportation Services department. D.A.R.T.S. service is also
available to qualified residents of other municipalities while they are
visiting the City of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

D.A.R.T.S. is a door to door transportation service employing wheelchair
accessible buses and contracted taxi services when appropriate. Service is
provided from one accessible building door entrance to another accessible
building door entrance. Accessible is defined as no more than one step.
Passengers are assisted in and out of vehicles. D.A.R.T.S. drivers cannot
provide special assistance while the vehicle is in transit and cannot guarantee
that passengers will be delivered into the hands of someone else at a drop off
location. Some clients may be required to have an accompanying attendant travel
with them.
